A Very Stylish History

As the freezing winter days settle in and rowers are braving these chilly early mornings for intense training sessions we thought we would honour the rowing blazer.

Once a way to distinguish themselves among other rowing clubs the blazer has evolved beyond this and is now a quintessential part of British style history.

Whether it is a Venetian stripe or a plain cloth with braiding, it is a true stand out design for any rower.

With its long history and the word ‘blazer’ actually originating with the red ‘blazers’ of the lady Margaret   Boat Club there is a lot more to the blazer than just a jacket.

It can now be worn as a statement piece of fashion as well as a way to showcase your clubs colours.

Be the Club that gets noticed this year at the Henley Royal Regatta. One of the best known regattas in the world , a highlight in the social summer calendar.
