Blazers are exhibited in all their glory at Gooodwood Revival

Goodwood revival is an action-packed weekend of historic motor racing, period theatre, excellent music and some serious fashion. The 12th - 14th September sees the Goodwood circuit head back in time.

Vintage motoring fashion is a major theme at Goodwood Revival, with visitors dressing in their finest period clothing from the Forties, Fifties and Sixties. And you know what that means? Plenty of striped blazers, tweeds and trilbies, frills and big frocks, it is a unique chance for fans to revel in the glamour of motor racing from a by-gone era.

It is a popular event for vintage motor sport enthusiasts who attend in their hundreds. Andrew McDowall, based in Chichester, has been a one stop shop for revival-goers for a number of years, the shop is owned by Andrew Moore, “The well dressed man at the revival could wear a smart striped blazer, or perhaps a fine wool checked sports suit with a waistcoat, check shirt and wool tie, topped off with a fur felt trilby,” he explains.
