Student sports clubs and societies lead the way

British Universities & Colleges Sport fosters sporting excellence and supports student sports societies by training students in developing and leading club structures.  “Developing a good club structure will increase the potential for the club to be successful both in and out of competition,” and we agree, a well-organised club that believes in itself and encourages excellence will be successful and often team members will derive inspiration from their brand identity and club heritage.

Perry Club commend BUCS for its superb programmes for students in club committee training and club development planning processes.

Meanwhile, check out the Perry Club Facebook page Perry Club Facebook to enter our competition or follow us on Twitter Perry Club on Twitter and you can see latest offers there too.

Quality manufacturing in the UK, a bright start to 2014

Vince Cable highlights the high quality of UK manufacturing
Perry Club manufacture our bespoke blazers in Yorkshire, the home of the British textile industry. Our passion for quality and customer service has always been our top priority and now it seems many other companies agree with us.  Business Secretary Vince Cable wrote an article for the Sunday Times on January 12th, telling us: “hundreds of companies that have moved manufacturing to low-cost countries in Asia are bringing the jobs back.”  Why? “Quality was the main reason,” he explained. He went on,“the key here is the consumer.  In a Which? survey, one in five said they trusted companies that sold locally- produced or British-made goods.”

An introduction to Boating Blazers by author Jack Carleson and photographer F.E Castleberry

The perfect gift to celebrate the New Year

F.E Castleberry is a renowned fashion photographer and one of his new projects is a collaboration with author Jack Carlson on “Rowing Blazers” a new coffee table book on boating blazers. View an exact from the book, and a preview of some of the sought after images, celebrating the “Quintessentially British Boating Blazer”

“A few years ago, it would have been nearly impossible to purchase a boating blazer on this side of the Atlantic, unless one was willing to wait for something to be shipped from merry ole’ England.

While it is still difficult, the high-prep revival of the past several years has resulted in a rediscovery of the very colourful jacket that is perfect for a summer party or even a casual outdoors wedding.”

Keep an eye out for this gem of a coffee table book, scheduled for publication in 2014.A preview can be found in this month’s edition of Quest, a New York society magazine. #rowing #Boatingblazers #style #menswear #Questmagazine
